What is the EII Conference?

India's student equity research competition. Delegates are allocated a real NIFTY 50 or SENSEX company, conduct independent research, build an investment thesis, and pitch it to a panel of finance professionals.

Who can attend?

Any student in Grades 9 to 12, from any board, anywhere in India. No prior finance knowledge is required.

When and where is it?

8 and 9 August 2026, at Stellar World School, Mumbai.

How do I apply?

Complete the online application. It takes about ten minutes and covers your details, your school, and a short note on why you want to take part. Every application is reviewed and you will hear back by email.

Is there an application deadline?

Yes. Applications close ahead of the event and the exact date is announced here and by email. Places are limited, so applications close once the cohort is full regardless.

Is there a registration fee?

₹7,500 per delegate. This covers entry to both days, research materials, lunch and your participation certificate. Full refund up to 14 days before.

Do I need prior finance knowledge?

No. EII is built for students who want to learn, not experts who already know. A research framework and guidance materials are provided.

How much time does preparation take?

Around 8 to 12 hours a week across a 4 to 6 week period. Comparable to preparing for a competitive MUN.

What should I bring on the day?

Your printed or digital pitch deck, a government or school ID, and your confirmation email. Business casual or formal attire.

Is parental consent required?

Yes, for all delegates under 18. The form is provided as part of registration.

Can my school send a group?

Yes, group registrations are encouraged. Get in touch and we will coordinate with your school directly.
