EII exists because the gap between school finance and real equity research is wider than anyone admits, and nobody was closing it.
Textbooks teach definitions. Case competitions hand out problems written to have a correct answer. Neither prepares you for an annual report nobody has summarised, a business you have to understand on your own terms, and a room of people who will ask why you believe what you believe.
EII was built to put that experience in front of high school students who would otherwise need a family connection in finance to get anywhere near it.

Founded EII and designed the conference format, the research framework and the judging rubric. Built it to make serious equity research reachable for any student willing to do the work, not only those with a finance connection.
